Spacious, stable, and perfect for families and larger groups. A private catamaran gives you the deck space, shade, and swimming platform to spend a full day on the Andaman in comfort.
Catamarans are the most comfortable way to spend a day on the water in Phuket. Here's what sets them apart from speedboats and monohull yachts.
The twin-hull design of a catamaran makes it far more stable than a speedboat or monohull yacht. There's very little rolling, even in moderate swell. This is a major advantage for guests who are prone to seasickness, and for anyone who feels nervous on smaller boats.
Catamarans have wide, flat deck areas that monohull boats simply can't match. You can spread out, set up a dining area, or let children run around safely. The wide beam also means there's room for sun loungers on the bow netting — one of the best spots to watch the islands go by.
Full-day charters in the Andaman sun can be intense. Catamarans have large shaded cockpit areas and a covered saloon below deck where you can cool off, have lunch out of the sun, or put young children down for a nap. Most speedboats simply don't have this option.
The stern of a catamaran sits close to the waterline, making it easy and safe to get in and out of the water. Children, non-swimmers, and guests with limited mobility will all find it far more accessible than climbing in and out of a speedboat. Snorkelling sessions are much more relaxed.
Catamarans are our number-one recommendation for families with young children. The combination of stability, space, shade, and an easy swim platform makes for a day on the water that everyone — including parents — actually enjoys. You're not worried about small children slipping or being uncomfortable.
With proper table space and a galley below, catamarans are set up for a real onboard lunch. We can arrange a catered meal served while you're anchored off a beautiful beach. It's one of those experiences that turns a good day into a great one — eating fresh food with the water lapping around you.
All prices are for the private hire of the boat — not per person. The boat is yours for the duration.

These are the most requested itineraries for catamaran charters. Routes are flexible — we can customise based on your group's interests.
Depart Chalong Pier and cruise to Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Leh. Swim at the Viking Cave, snorkel at Shark Point, and visit Maya Bay. Anchor for lunch in a sheltered bay. Return by late afternoon. The catamaran's stability makes the 90-minute crossing comfortable even for guests who are nervous about longer boat trips.
Racha Yai has some of the clearest water around Phuket. A full-day catamaran trip gives you time at multiple snorkel sites, a beach lunch, and a leisurely return. The island is much less crowded than Phi Phi and the water conditions are often calmer. Excellent for families and snorkel enthusiasts.
Visit the iconic limestone karsts of Phang Nga Bay. Stop at James Bond Island (Khao Phing Kan), explore sea caves by kayak or longtail, and anchor in the emerald bay for lunch. A catamaran handles this route beautifully — the calm, sheltered waters of the bay suit the vessel perfectly.
Just 15 minutes from Chalong Pier, Coral Island (Koh Hey) is perfect for a half-day catamaran trip. Two beaches, calm water, and good snorkelling. Great option if you have young children, want a relaxed morning on the water, or are combining a boat trip with other activities in the afternoon.
Our standard catamarans take up to 12 passengers comfortably. For larger groups we have bigger catamarans that can accommodate 20–25 guests. If you have more than 12 people, just mention it in your enquiry and we'll suggest the right vessel. We don't overload boats — comfort and safety come first.
It depends on your priorities. A speedboat is faster (90 minutes vs 2+ hours each way) so you get more time at the destination. A catamaran is more comfortable, has more space, and is much less bumpy. If you have young children, elderly guests, or anyone prone to motion sickness, the catamaran is the better choice. If you want to maximise time at Phi Phi and your group is comfortable on the water, the speedboat makes sense.
Yes. Unlike speedboats, catamarans have proper table and seating space for a real onboard meal. We can arrange a catered lunch delivered to the boat, or we can stop at a beachside restaurant at one of the islands. Let us know your preference when you book. Many guests also bring their own food and drinks — there is no corkage fee.
Yes. All catamaran charters include snorkelling masks and fins for every guest. The equipment is cleaned between charters. If you have your own snorkelling gear you are welcome to bring it. We also carry a few flotation vests for guests who want to snorkel but aren't strong swimmers.
November through April is Phuket's high season — calm seas, clear skies, and excellent visibility underwater. This is the best time for a catamaran charter. May to October is the low season; conditions are more variable but we still operate regularly. The catamaran's stability is particularly appreciated during the shoulder season when there can be some swell. We monitor conditions daily and will advise if anything affects your trip.
Tell us your dates and group size. We'll send you available catamarans and prices within a few hours.
